The Lodge Editors 2026

Elio Thompson (they/them) is a senior graphic design major with a double minor in business communications and art history. When they graduate, they plan on pursuing a master’s degree in library sciences. They are a huge fan of horror, the whimsical, and weirdcore genres. They enjoy playing video games, making art, reading, and taking .5 photos of their cat in their free time.

Arlo Ward (he/him) is a graphic design major with minors in creative writing and psychology, trapped in a cycle of writing, burnout, then writing again.

Kameron Tharp (he/him) is a senior creative writer at Blackburn College with a minor in justice administration.

Rylee Lovelace (she/her) is a junior at Blackburn College majoring in Business Marketing. She currently serves as the Resident Director of Stoddard Hall and is in her second year as an editor of The Lodge. Rylee is excited about this year’s issue and hopes others will be as well.

John Bray (he/him) is a sophomore graphic design and creative writing student at Blackburn College. He enjoys music, movies, and working on his car.

Liz Kemper (she/her) is a junior creative writing major student. She enjoys spending her free time playing video games, watching anime, writing, and editing.

Orion Osborn (he/him) is a sophomore creative writing major and first-time Lodge editor. He likes writing horror and dumb teen drama, playing weird spooky indie games, and collecting Monster High dolls. If he’s not in the library, then he’s working at Dollar General. If he were a fruit, he would be a strawberry.

Charles Jade Gaither (she/he) is a queer writer in her second year in the Creative Writing track at Blackburn College. Voted most artistic in his graduating class and given a reward from his high school’s English department upon graduation, he’s been writing since he could string words together and has no plans to stop any time soon.

Joshua Del Rosario (he/him) is a hard-working writer/editor who hopes to connect with a wide audience, using his creative writing skills to tell stories in a grounded and thought-provoking way.

CJ Jackson (she/her) is a contributing editor of the Lodge literary magazine. She is a creative writing major and Spanish minor who likes piña coladas and getting caught in the rain.

Illustrators

Cassidy Eyeman (she/they) is a senior in Business Administration with a minor in graphic desgin. In their free time, they play Stardew Valley, DIY their clothes, hang out with their friends, and listen to music.

Adam Eyeman (he/him) is a junior majoring in Graphic Design and minoring in Theatre. Art has been a lifelong passion of his for as long as he can remember, be it drawing in his sketchbook, messing around with Adobe Illustrator and Project Neo, or painting time and time again. His favorite medium to work with is mixed media. Outside of that, he enjoys watching cartoons and building Lego sets. He takes great pride in the work he produces. 

Lyn Waters (she/they) is a studio art major who is not much into health food but is into champagne.

Uli Espinoza (he/him) is a junior Graphic Design major who runs for the Blackburn cross country team and loves art. He does drawing, painting, photography, and fashion. He also loves listening to metal and playing games onh is Xbox; his favorite game is Zenless Zone Zero.

Luke Ellinger (he/him) is a junior majoring in Computer Science, minoring in Graphic Design. He enjoys using his creative ideas when creating pieces of art. His art is heavily influenced by pop culture and video games. One of his favorite styles of art is comic!
